The Value of You

I love the Becoming Minimalist blog. Although I would not describe myself as succeeding at minimalism (fourteen pairs of shoes at last count), I do value the principles of minimalism: learning to find happiness outside of material things, lowering our impact on the environment, focusing on what is truly important.

Here’s a recent post from Becoming Minimalist that speaks to the work I do in leadership development. Your life is valuable, as are your gifts, passions, beliefs, and values.¬†I really do believe that we have the greatest impact in the world when we do work that we love for an organization we believe in. Although this post speaks to much more than that, it is right in line with doing what you love. If you want to feel inspired to live intentionally, take a minute to read it.
